Wrapping up the Year with Amy

Happy New Year!!!

Just wanted to send a quick update as we wrap up 2013 and head into 2014.

What an amazing year it has been and as I look back, I see so many amazing breakthrough’s both from the blessings of God and the endurance and grace to keep saying “yes” to Jesus and choosing to overcome. I leave this year and head into 2014 I do so a changed woman.

One of the greatest joys for me this year is seeing the launch of our Women’s Gatherings, Brave: Love. We held our second gathering in November with a couple hundred women coming to Pasadena for 3 days of pure wildness. The Lord showed up in a powerful way as women stepped into great authority as women of revival with so much beauty and grace. I was blown away by the stories of overcoming and the capacity within them to live out Brave Love! It is looking like as we head into 2014, Brave: Love is taking off with gatherings at different times and places. I will keep you posted on the when and where as it unfolds.

From the Brave: Love gathering I went strait into more leadership gathering’s here in the area. The musicians gathering for what we call the “Tool Shed” the university, circuit riding young evangelists gathering for what we call the “Plowman”, and then some legendary young YWAM leaders from a few places around the world to talk about training the millions ha! All at one time these gathering where happening, so lets just say we made “hay”! So much going on that is bearing fruit, so much momentum and excitement for this coming year! A couple days later I was at a gathering  called the “Love Coalition” a group of revivalist leaders from around the world in their 20’s and 30’s just for long term relationship and friendship. A beautiful time with closer relationships that I am so thankful for!

I went to Greenville, SC over thanksgiving with my friend Chase Cofer to spend time with our good friends Jed and Melody Aho and the Fascinate Community. Its just one of those places I feel like I am home in. From there I went to Florida to meet Chase’s family before I taught on the Jacksonville YWAM base for the first time. The Lord showed up in powerful ways, like He is so faithful to do. Then I had the honor of being the last speaker of the Fire & Fragrance DTS in Harrisburg, PA and be apart of commissioning them all out on outreach. I love connecting with our wider Fire & Fragrance family! Jeremy and Natalie Brardwell are hero’s out in Harrisburg with all they are giving their lives for on the East Coast! So amazing to see how far we have com with Fire & Fragrance in just 5 years, praise Jesus! Another fun thing is some doors are opening up for me in Lancaster, PA to work with young people from Amish community, more on that coming soon.

I finally made it back to Pasadena mid December for another leaders gathering and finally a REST!!!! Yes, I finally had like two weeks to just rest. All my crew took off in different directions for the Holiday’s and I just stayed back (exhausted from travel) to just get some time to slow down and regroup for all of what is coming 2014. I spent a quite Christmas with getting a lot of cooking in for friends and then the joy of cooking dinner for the Brennt family on Christmas. It was hard not being around family but sometimes you just gotta rest and I sure needed it.

There is so much exciting things to tell you that we have gearing up for 2014 but I will just let you know what I am up to in the next couple months and announce the big stuff as it continues to unfold.

Here are a few thing coming up for me financially: 

• I still don't' have medical insurance (yikes) and I have to get it now. Its about $250 a month for me to do that.
• Paying of past medical bills 
• There is something still really wrong with my metabolic/indrocene system and if I ever get the finance I need to find a specialist in this area. 
• Then there is just the day to day living, travel and all that comes with it.
