Whats Going on in the Life of the Ward's
This Blog is the update's on what's happening in our life
Some Changes
With pioneering there can be unexpected changes and continuous new developments, and so is the case with my pioneering plant to Pasadena, California. In order to tell you about those changes,l I am going to put on my story telling hat and bring you into it what happening: As you know from my last update, the plan was to move to Pasadena with a team in November to pioneer a YWAM base at the US Center for World Missions and launch the new Awakening DTS in January. For me the word of the Lord was to go to Pasadena and to partner with US Center for World Missions, to plant a base/community that was a place of "convergence". The Lord said to "take a step of faith" in going. Two years ago the Lord also spoke to me in a very powerful way about the Circuit Riders in California and He has continued to do so. I know how to run DTS's, and it's what made sense in my mind in pioneering a YWAM base, so that is the direction I went in. Everyone was excited and on board, so we worked hard in creating all the promotion and video's in getting things dialed in for the DTS launch. At the same time in doing all of this I was battling through surgery stuff and the complications that happened as well as planning for a unexpected second surgery. The plan was to get my second surgery Oct. 10Th. About a week before that surgery I was challenged by some of our leadership to pray about the idea that we where NOT to run a DTS in Jan but to actually move out there and be on the ground to wait for the Lord to speak into what kind of training we where to do. We run really great DTS's all over the place but maybe this time the Lord wanted to do something new and different with this place of convergence. Thoughts that it would be more of a location for Circuit Rider training and really focusing on harvester's for the wave that's coming. When I first heard all of this I thought the idea was great, but it was not what I was thinking and the ball was already rolling for the DTS. I was open to the Lord speaking to me but I was feeling that I was to still move in the direction of the current school. When my apostolic, God fearing leaders present something like this to me, it makes me stop to listen and pray. I submitted to the Lord and asked Him to make clear to me if I was to change the direction I was going. Well a few days before my surgery my doctor on Oahu called the nurse here in Kona and asked that I get a special test done to check for a certain kind of infection. When I went to get the test the nurse said it was just a precaution and not to worry. A couple days later was the Sunday before my surgery, early in the morning I get a call from my surgeon. He tells me the tests results came back and I had a serious infection and he could not do the surgery on me and it would be months before that could happen. My unsaved surgeon tell's me that how he realized that I had this infection was he had a dream where he was operating on me and he was spreading the infection all over by body. It startled him awake and he was disturbed by it and ordered the test. Sure enough I had it, he said that had he not had the dream he would not have known to do it and we would not have known until it was to late. He then said a much higher power was at work in all of this. Well you could imagine how shook up I was and the Lord had my attention. I told Andy Byrd who I was processing with and he had also had a dream where I was not getting my surgery when I wanted but I was getting it a few months later and it was the perfect timing. Now the Lord really had me. So that day the Lord began to speak to me about making a change and not running the DTS in Jan. Over the next few days it was decided that I would take my small team and move to Pasadena on the US Center for World Missions and start living out rhythms of evangelism on University Campus's as well as house of prayer and building relationship. Although this was not what I thinking or even wanting at first we all knew it was the Lord. My team shrunk a little after that but we have our small little army ready to get on the ground and pioneer and listen to what He has for us to do. In one week from today I move from Kona and start my journey in Oregon where I speak at a women's conference and hopefully buy a car to drive to Pasadena. I should arrive there Nov 19Th. The rest of November and December will be spent getting established and building relationships, and lots of prayer. Come January we will be training for University Campus and taking a class with the US Center for World Missions. We should know by then more on what kind of training we will be doing and when that will be. I am really excited to get on the ground and really hear the Lord for what He is saying to us. In the first week of February I will be in Kona teaching in the Fire & Fragrance DTS and if I am healed enough I hope to get my surgery after that. Please keep me in your prayers as I am still really battling through physical/emotional stuff from the surgery as well as some new issues that have come up. I am so close to being on the other side of the physical overcoming journey and now I am coming into a new land to pioneer and step further into my destiny... Need Your Help I am really in Need of Monthly Support: With all the changes going on in pioneering as well as in the lives of my current supporters I am really in need of committed monthly support. One of the biggest needs is health insurance and my monthly living expenses as increased with moving to California. Would you please pray about partnering with me as I take this step of faith. I need about $1000 more a month to really make it work right now.
