Whats Going on in the Life of the Ward's
This Blog is the update's on what's happening in our life
As many of you know I recently had major surgery on Sept 7Th. It all ended up being more intense then I ever anticipated. What was meant to be a 8 hour surgery turned into over 10. They had to stop the surgery before it was completed due to the risks. I had a very bad reaction to the anesthesia and being under that long. The pain and recovery was much more then I have ever experienced or planned for. Let’s put it this way, the doctor said in his 31 years he has never had such an extreme case on every level. It was pretty scary but through people praying all over the world, and the help of two amazing friends who where with me I pulled through. I was told soon after by the doctor that I would need another surgery in a few weeks to complete the last one. After a week in Honolulu I was able to come home to Kona, but soon after developed an infection in my incisions. Then last Sat night I was taken to the ER due to another infection in my stomach area. I was admitted and after several cat scans I was told I would need emergency surgery to remove the many infected areas of my stomach. Once again prayer shifted things and I ended up not having surgery but a minor incisions was made to drain the infection. One of the scariest nights of my life. I do not have insurance so I am praying for a miracle for the ER bill. Then to my great surprise my friends raised the funds for my next surgery. Thank you to all who where apart of giving to that. I was so overwhelmed by LOVE!!! I have never been more undone by people doing something this big for me!! Now I am waiting to see how I heal to find out when I will be able to get the next surgery. We are praying they can do it all in just one more, but due to the complications and what needs to be done, it might be two. So please pray for me!! I have been dealing with some PTSD due to all the trauma as well as having to prepare myself to go through this all again. The other issue is everything is on a time line for Pasadena so trying to plant and pioneer a base and DTS while going through all of this and move maybe the craziest thing I ever attempted. I know the prayers and love of others and the grace of God is getting me through. My story of OVERCOMING is still being written. I know one day it will all be worth it. Jesus glories in my weakness everyday.

This November I will bringing leadership to a pioneering team that is being sent fromUniversity of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii to Pasadena, CA to pioneer a YWAM base and a new DTS at the US Center for World Mission’s. From my early childhood of growing up in the wilderness of Alaska, pioneering has always been in my DNA, and I have not stopped since. I feel like everything in my life has been preparing and leading me into this next season. I have such a Fear of the Lord, joy, faith, and excitement for what God is doing. I head out this November to prepare for a new DTS called “The Awakening” that will launch Jan 10, 2013. I have been in Kna almost 5 years bringing leadership to Fire & Fragrance and now I am partnering with my good friend Andrew York who has been bringing leadership to the Awaken DTS in Kona. We are converging together to plant a base in Pasadena as we believe the Lord is releasing an Awakening in America and in the nations of the earth. In partnering with US Center for World Missions we will have a focus on seeing the unreached people groups of the earth reached with the Gospel of Jesus to see the Great Commission fulfills. We will also be focusing outreach's on the Universities Campuses to see a souls saved and another Student Volunteer Mission's Movement raised up and sent out into that nations. YWAM Pasadena will be a base of CONVERGENCE as many streams in the body of Christ will come together again in this historic place. Partner With Me Right now my greatest need is monthly support's. There is a real increase in costs in living in California. I need to raise about $1000 more in monthly support. This goes towards rent, insurance, car, etc… With pioneering and moving there are a lot of initial expenses. It is to expensive to ship my things from Hawaii so I am basically starting over. I have been trying to raise support all along this journey, but NOW I really need to. I would ask that you pray about partnering with me as I lead out in this pioneering initiative. In making this move to Pasadena, I am going indefinitely. It's not unto a time frame, but unto an outcome. Never thought this Alaskan would become a California girl, but here I Go….
